Essential Qualifications: - BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering with atleast 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from recognised University /Institution with 8 years experience in the grade of Assistant Executive Engineer/ Engineer in PB-3 with GP Rs.5400/- (PR) from,, CPWD/ State PWD/ Centrally funded Institutions, or similar organised services/PSU, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations/ Universities/ reputed organisations under Centre/State Government or equivalent in reputed private organisations.

1. How to apply: Candidates possessing the requisite qualification and experience may apply online only ( http://iittp.ac.in/recruitment). The online application portal will be opened on 3 rd July 2019 for filing online applications and the last date for closing the online application interface is 31-07-2019. The candidates shall upload only the following relevant documents in the following sequence in a single file in PDF Format (not exceeding the size of 2 MB): i. Certificates Educational qualifications in chronological order ie., SSC/10th , Intermediate,/12th, Diploma, UG Degree, PG, PhD, All the years Marks lists of the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post applied. ii. Certificate of Date of Birth (issued by Municipality etc or Matriculation/High School/SSC certificate. iii. Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-servicemen etc). iv. The applicants for the post of Assistant Security Officer are required to upload certificates towards Military, Police, NCC, Fire Fighting Training certificates. v. NOC from current employer if applicable.
vi. Certificates of experiences in the relevant field, which makes the candidate eligible for applying for the said post if required (from the present employment to first employment)



There is no need to send the hard copy of the application by post. The online applications with out uploading the above certificates (PDF) will be treated as incomplete ones and such applications will not be considered for further process. 2. Application Fee: There will be an application fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only). After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to be pay the fee through the payment GATEWAY (SBI collect) by online Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit (link: https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=646389). The candidates are requested to fill up the correct full application number while making payment through SBI collect, failing which the payment cannot be linked with the concerned candidate’s application. All women candidates, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) Ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee provided they upload the proof such as SC/ST/PwD/Aadhar Card/ PPO/Discharge certificates etc along with other document in our website at the time of filling up of online application. 3. Selection process: The qualification and experience prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test/Trade Test/ Practical test etc. Based on the academic performance, experience, bio-data, initial screening/ shortlisting will be conducted. The Institute reserves the right to hold written test, trade test/practical test, presentation and / or interview (for certain categories only) for selection, wherever circumstances so warrant. The Institute reserve the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reasons. Also, any consequential vacancies arising at the time of selection process may be filled up from the available candidates. 7. Pay & Allowances: Besides pay in the Pay Matrix, each post carries allowances at par with Central Government employees wherever applicable posted at Tirupati. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & OTHER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA a) Candidate shall possess valid GATE-2019 score in the corresponding GATE-2019 papers mentioned above. b) Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations (base qualifications specified at above Table-1) and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology/ Master of Science(M.sc) in the above mentioned disciplines from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes.


c) Candidates applying against Un-reserved posts, posts reserved for EWS & posts reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination (base qualifications specified at above Table-1). Candidates applying against posts reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and posts reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD) category should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination (base qualifications specified at above Table-1). d) All qualification must be from UGC recognized Indian University / UGC recognized Indian Deemed University or AICTE approved Autonomous Indian Institution / Concerned Statutory Council (wherever applicable)/Board of Technical Education. e) Minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the essential qualification as indicated above shall be aggregate of all semesters to be calculated taking average of all semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University. Aggregate percentage of marks shall not be rounded off (for example 59.99 % not be rounded off as 60 %). f) In case CGPA/OGPA/Grade is awarded by university, the equivalent percentage shall be derived based on the formula provided by the University for converting the grade to percentage. If no formula is prescribed by the University, the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the CGPA/OGPA/Grade by a factor of 10 subject to the condition that the candidate has to submit documentary proof that the University does not have any formula for conversion of CGPA/OGPA/Grade to percentage. Relaxation in percentage of marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST category is applicable only to the posts reserved for SC/ST as the case may be. g) Engineering Degree can be B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering (04 year course). h) Candidates having five years BE/B.Tech + ME/M.Tech integrated dual degree in engineering in relevant discipline shall also be considered at par with B.E /B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering. i) Candidates pursuing/completed M.Tech in any disciplines, other than those mentioned above, for being eligible, must have completed BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in one of the above mentioned qualifying degree examination (base qualifications specified at above Table-1) and have valid GATE-2019 score in the above mentioned qualifying degree examination, are eligible to apply. j) Integrated ME/ M.Tech candidates will be eligible, if they have already completed the course requirement for award of BE/ B.Tech/B.SC. Engineering in one of the qualifying degree examination (base qualifications specified at above Table-1) and have completed ME/ M.Tech. k) If a candidate pursues integrated ME/M.Tech Programmes and is awarded two separate degrees ie. BE/B.Tech and ME/M/Tech, then the % of marks/CGPA obtained by the candidates in BE/B.Tech will be considered to determine the eligibility of the candidates. l) If a single degree i.e. ME/M.Tech is awarded to the candidates at the end of integrated ME/M.Tech programme, then the consolidated marks obtained by the candidate at the end of integrated ME/M.Tech programme will be reckoned for deciding the eligibility.




SELECTION PROCESS For the above posts the selection methodology will comprise of GATE 2019 Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. a) The short-listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained by them in the GATE 2019 examination. Score from GATE-2018 or from any previous GATE examination is not valid. The marks obtained out of 100 in the GATE Score Card will be taken into consideration for short listing the candidates. The candidates will be called for further selection process in the ratio of 1:5 (i.e. 1 Post: 5 candidates, as per the reservation of posts).In case multiple candidates are having same GATE marks, then the candidate who has got higher marks in the Base qualification mentioned at Table-1 above will be considered for further selection process. b) Further Selection process comprises of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. c) There will not be any separate cutoff/ qualifying marks for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The Final merit list of candidates shall be prepared based on total sum of weightage of GATE score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Marks. 85% weightage shall be given to GATE score and 5 marks will be given for Group Discussion and 10 marks for Personal Interview.

Candidates applying against training positions reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) should have minimum 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Engineering Degree/Diploma). Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PWD) category should have minimum 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Engineering Degree/Diploma). Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a diploma is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per the norm adopted by the University/Institute. The candidates have to submit a certificate indicating the method/formula used for conversion of letter grade/CGPA/OGPA to equivalent percentage, if required by MRPL.



f) Percentage of marks should be aggregate of all years/semesters i.e., total marks obtained over total maximum marks of all years/semesters without giving any weightage to any particular year/semester, irrespective of the method used by the University/Institution. Aggregate percentage of marks should not be rounded off (for example 54.99 % not be rounded off as 55 %) g) All the qualifications specified above should be recognized by Board of Technical Education / UGC/AICTE.

SELECTION PROCESS: a) The selection process shall consist of written test. The candidates shall be considered for engagement based on the marks scored in written test and subject to meeting the advertised specifications, verification of documents/any other criteria prescribed by MRPL etc. i. WRITTEN TEST (Duration- 90 Minutes) The WRITTEN TEST will comprise of 50 Multiple Choice Question from the concerned discipline/domain/subject for 50 marks Note- 1. All questions carry equal 1 mark. There will be no negative marking. 2. The Question Papers for Written Test will be Bilingual i.e. in English & Hindi. 3. The candidate has to choose his/her language for written test while applying. b) MRPL reserves the right to introduce additional phase of written examination / screening Test in compelling circumstances for screened candidates on the basis of performance in written test and decision regarding calling such number of candidates shall be decided by MRPL only. c) The company shall not reimburse any expenses incurred by the candidate on account of travelling, boarding, lodging for attending written test.
